SOMEONE IS WATCHING YOU

You probably do not realize this but someone is watching you. It may be your child or grandchild, other family members, friends, or neighbors. Maybe someone you don’t even know.

If they would or could talk to you, would they tell you when you thought I was not looking, I saw you make or buy a meal and take it to a sick friend. I learned that we all need to take care of each other.

When you thought I was not looking, I saw you give of your time and money to help people who were struggling. I learned that those who have something should help those who don’t. When you thought I was not looking, I saw you cared and I wanted to be everything I could be.

When you thought I was not looking, I saw tears come from your eyes and I learned that sometimes things hurt but, it is okay to cry. When you thought I was not looking, I learned life lessons that I need to know to be a good and Godly person.

When you thought I was not looking, I saw how you handled your responsibilities, even when you did not feel good and I learned that I need to be responsible too. When you thought I was not looking, I saw you hold someone’s hand and realized we all need to hold on to each other.

When you thought I was not looking, I saw you read your Bible and I wanted to read it too. When you thought I was not looking, I saw you pray and I knew there was a God I could always talk to and I learned to trust Him.

Each of us influences the life of a child, but we also do the same in the life of someone we didn’t even know was watching. A stranger, that lost person sitting next to you, a visitor to the church. How will you touch the life of someone today, tomorrow, this year? Will they see Jesus in you when you didn’t even know they were watching you?
